The Bahamas
Your ideal all inclusive luxury vacation aboard Penny Jo includes a custom itinerary exploring the Exumas. The ideal time to visit the Exumas is between November and July, when hurricanes are much less of a threat.
Freedom awaits you to sail to your favorite locations or knowledgeable recommendations from the Captain to your personal preference for incredible anchorages to enjoy many land and water activities. All Islands of the Bahamas are worth exploring, Penny Jo will cruise the Abacos or Berry Islands upon request for an additional relocation fee.
Exumas Sample Itinerary
8 days / 7 nights
Day 1 - Leave marina sail 32 nm to Allen's Cay-visit the rock iguanas, beaches, swimming.
Day 2 - Lunch at the sand bar near Saddle Cay-swimming. Enter Exuma Land and Sea Park. Anchor for the night Shroud Cay-explore the mangrove creek by dinghy, lots of turtles, amazing beaches.
Day 3 - Lunch at Hawksbill Cay-swimming, beaches. Anchor for the night at Warderick Well Cay-sperm wahale skeleton on the beach, nature hiking trails, reef snorkeling, lots of sea life from the boat (sharks, rays, turtles)
Day 4 - Lunch at O'Briens Cay-reef snorkeling, beaches. Sail past Johnny Depp's private island. Anchor for the night at Cambridge Cay- beaches, nature trails for hiking.
Day 5 - Lunch at Compass Cay-snorkeling, swim with the nurse sharks at the marina. Anchor at Staniel Cay-visit Thunderball Grotto, explore the village and Yacht club.
Day 6 - Lunch at Big Majors Spot-visit swimming pig beach. Snorkel Pablo Escobar's sunken plane at Norman's Cay. Anchor off the beach.
Day 7 - Sail 32 nm to Rose Island for the night-swimming, snorkeling, beach.
Day 8 - Sail 6 nm to Marina for Noon departure.

Day 6 - Lunch at Big Majors Spot-visit swimming pig beach. Anchor at Staniel Cay-visit Thunderball Grotto, explore the village and Yacht club.
Day 7 - Lunch at Staniel Cay. Anchor at Hawksbill Cay-swimming, beaches.
Day 8 - Lunch and Snorkel Pablo Escobar's sunken plane at Norman's Cay. Anchor off the beach.
Day 9 - Sail 32 nm to Rose Island for the night-swimming, snorkeling, beach.
Day 10 - Sail 6 nm to Marina for Noon departure.
